Our story
We were tired of charcoal.
So we built something better.
We are hookah lovers. We have been smoking shisha for years — at home, with friends, late into the night. And for years, we put up with everything that comes with it.
The problems nobody talks about
Every hookah session starts the same way. You reach for the coals. You light them up. You wait. And then the problems begin.
The smell of burning charcoal fills the room before the session even starts. The carbon monoxide builds up in a closed space. You rotate the coals every twenty minutes or the heat dies out. One wrong move and a burning coal falls — onto the floor, onto the sofa, onto the rug. You look down and there is a burn mark that wasn't there before.
Then there are the nights you run out of coals mid-session. The shops are closed. The session is over before it really started.
And over the years, we noticed something else. The quality of natural charcoal has been declining. The same brands we used to trust started burning uneven, leaving more ash, affecting the flavor. Climate conditions affect the coconut harvest — and the coals you get today are simply not what they used to be.

Four years to get it right
We didn't want to replace the hookah. We wanted to fix the one thing that was making it complicated: the charcoal.
So we started building. Not as engineers trying to reinvent something they'd never used — but as passionate hookah smokers who knew exactly what a perfect session felt like, and what was getting in the way of it.
It took four years. Four years of prototypes, testing, adjusting, failing, and trying again. Four years of sessions — good ones and bad ones — to understand exactly what heat level, what timing, what proximity produces the smoke density and flavor that a real hookah lover expects.
The goal was simple: the same authentic hookah experience, without a single piece of charcoal.
